Praise be Jesus Christ!
Fr. Steve Beseau, STD, the Director and Chaplain of the St. Lawrence Center at the University of Kansas and a contributor to this blog, has given a five-part homily series entitled "From Lost Sheep to Apostle: A Renewed Catholic Spiritual Roadmap for Life." According to the description at the St. Lawrence Center, the series proposes "a new model of Catholic life that reflects how a person progresses through the stages of spiritual growth."
The five parts are:
Part One: Why We Need a New Model of Catholic Life
Part Two: From Lost Sheep to Disciple
Part Three: From Disciple to Friend of Jesus
Part Four: From Friend of Jesus to Child of God
Part Five: From Child of God to Apostle of the Holy Spirit
The homilies are definitely worth a listen and sincere reflection. Fr. Beseau takes seriously the call to evangelization and his perspective challenges some common assumptions about what evangelization means.
